The elected members of our school council represent the voice of the child on a range of school community matters in St. Columba's.  The school council:

  • help improve our school. They meet regularly and work together to solve problems and plan fun activities.
  • work as a team and make decisions that benefit everyone. They listen to the suggestions from within the school and try to make them happen. 
  • manage funds for different projects and events.

The school council have made an acrostic poem to help explain what they represent.

Our School Manifesto

  1. We want our school to be active, offering a variety of After School Clubs and encouraging daily active learning.
  2. We want our school to be comfortable, no children panicking or worrying about anything.
  3. We want our school to be a friendly place where everyone shows excellent manners.
  4. We want our pupils to listen and learn.
  5. We want our school to be inclusive of all cultures so that we share and achieve our goals together.
  6. We want our pupils to use technology to enhance their learning.
